2、 Working principle

The desktop ultraviolet ozone cleaning machine GXT18A-01 produced by Beijing Aerospace Hongda Optoelectronic Technology Co., Ltd. uses the photosensitive oxidation effect of ultraviolet photons on organic substances to achieve the purpose of cleaning organic compounds (hydrocarbons) adhered to the surface of objects. Using UV lamps capable of producing wavelengths of 254nm and 185nm, most organic compounds have strong absorption ability for the 254nm wavelength of UV light. After absorbing UV light, they decompose into ions, free atoms, excited molecules, and neutral molecules, which is known as photosensitivity. After absorbing ultraviolet photons with a wavelength of 185nm, oxygen in the atmosphere produces ozone O3 and atomic oxygen O. The generated O3 has a strong absorption effect on ultraviolet light with a wavelength of 254nm. Under the action of photons, ozone decomposes into oxygen and excited oxygen atoms O *. Due to the extremely active nature of excited oxygen atoms O *, the photosensitive decomposition products of carbon and hydrogen compounds on the surface of objects are oxidized by it to form volatile gases such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and water vapor, which escape from the surface of objects and achieve the goal of completely removing stubborn organic substances adhered to the surface of objects

4、 Characteristics

1. Tight structure, small volume, and large cleaning area (180 * 180);

2. Equipped with a wind cooling circulation system, successfully solving the common heat dissipation problem in cleaning machines;

4. A reflective plate is used in conjunction to reflect the UV light emitted by the UV lamp onto the material being cleaned, thereby enhancing the intensity of light exposure and improving cleaning efficiency;

5. The distance between the material and the light source can be adjusted to maintain a small and appropriate distance between the material and the UV lamp, usually less than 10mm, in order to achieve the best cleaning results (i.e. light intensity and appropriate ozone concentration, maintaining appropriate space, ensuring appropriate ventilation, and controlling furnace temperature);

6. Adopting electronic control circuit, digital display, simple and convenient operation.

Related experiments have shown that after chemical and physical cleaning, the contact angle of the glass surface (the main parameter for measuring the cleanliness of an object's surface, which is the angle formed by a quantitative drop of pure water on the object's surface) can only be around 50 degrees, which is far from enough for STN products. After UV cleaning, the contact angle can be reduced to below 20 degrees, which can meet the process requirements of STN products.
